Bucher Hydraulics takes over Finnish company
Bucher Hydraulics has taken over Hydman Oy, based in Tampere. Hydman is a developer and manufacturer of individual control block systems. Bucher Hydraulics plans to reinforce its presence in the Nordic markets through the acquisition.
Hydman is a European developer and manufacturer of hydraulic solutions; the company had a "firm footing in Nordic markets" according to a press release. Among other things, Bucher Hydraulics was pursuing the goal with Hydman of combining individual components into an overall system.
Bucher Hydraulics takes over all the employees
Photo: © Hydman OyHydman, a company managed in the majority by its founders, was established in 2008 and generates about 13 million euros in turnover with about 40 employees. Bucher Hydraulics will take on all of the employees. The previous management is also to remain in the company. Hyman Oy will in future trade under the name Bucher Hydraulics Oy.
Bucher Hydraulics, a division of Bucher Industries, is a provider of electronic and hydraulic components and an internationally active producer of electrohydraulic systems. The products are used in mobile applications, such as agricultural machinery, conveyance and hoisting technology, construction machines, special vehicles and in stationary applications. Bucher Hydraulics employs about 3,000 workers and produces in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, the USA, Brazil, India and China.
