According to Bucher Hydraulics, modern efficiency standards (KfW 40) ensure that the energy consumption is only 40 percent of a standard building. The building is heated with an air-to-water heat pump, which is supported by a photovoltaic system and consequently operates almost emission-free.

Investments in sustainable infrastructure

Apart from energy-efficient production halls and machinery, investments were also made in sustainable infrastructure such as solar system and charging stations for electric vehicles.

A modern education and training centre was erected next to the administrative building. A training workshop, training rooms and a flexible event room for up to 100 people are located on another 1200 m2.
