D+H Deutschland takes a division from EHP Krüger

D+H Deutschland GmbH took over the smoke and heat extraction division from EHP Krüger GmbH (Ennepetal) as part of an asset deal.

D+H hopes to reinforce its service portfolio nationally in the field of smoke and heat extraction systems for lifts with this investment. As a result, the company has another location in North Rhine Westphalia.

EHP Krüger GmbH is specialised in the installation, maintenance and care of smoke and heat extraction systems in addition to the production of skylight domes and arcade rooflights. Hugo Krüger established the company in 1955. His daughter Sibylle Höher and Heinrich Schreiber succeeded him in 1986.

They have continued to act as joint and equal managing directors to this day. Due to age, they had transferred the smoke and heat extraction business to D+H Deutschland GmbH, according to the D+H press release.

Expand local presence

"By merging our resources and know-how, we can further expand our local presence for our customers in North Rhine Westphalia," explained Patrick Schweibl, managing director of D+H Deutschland GmbH.

Both companies had been interconnected since their beginnings given that the founders of D+H - Henner Dingfelder and Klaus Hadler – had previously worked in the north German distribution of the Ennepetal company. Moving from that position, they had become independent in 1968 and began to develop the company D+H.
