Mechanical engineers in the “hotspot of artificial intelligence”

News

The industrial company Ziehl-Abegg is now represented in the Innovation Parc Artificial Intelligence (IPAI). In Heilbronn, the "biggest ecosystem for artificial intelligence” is currently arising in the IPAI, according to the city.

"Artificial intelligence has already arrived in our company in several areas. We now want to professionalise the company-wide networking and use," declared the President of the Board of Directors of Ziehl-Abegg, Joachim Ley.

The IPAI is a platform where various partners come together to cooperate on forward-looking AI solutions. It is designed to be an innovation platform and transformation accelerator for AI activities in research, business and public institutions. That matched Ziehl-Abegg, stated Board President Ley.

Experts from very different sectors

"Our commitment in IPAI will help us to advance further: this is because experts from very different sectors and company sizes engage in exchanges and fertilise their ideas."

Companies like Porsche and organisations like the Fraunhofer Institute are located there as well as the police or the TU Munich and now Ziehl-Abegg too. The industrial company from Künzelsau (Germany) is active in ventilation, control and drive technology.
