Change at TÜV Süd AG
Sabine Nitzsche (52) has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer and member of the Board of Directors by the Board of Directors of TÜV Süd AG with effect from 1 March 2025.
She will succeed Professor Matthias J Rapp, who left the company on 30 September 2024.
"I am very pleased that we have been able to recruit a proven financial expert for TÜV Süd in the person of Sabine Nitzsche. She brings great experience from the financial sector, semiconductor and automotive industry with her as well as international management and foreign experience to successfully help shape the development of TÜV Süd in the Board of Directors," said Wolfgang Dehen, President of the Supervisory Board of the provider of testing, inspection and certification services, which has over 28,000 employees worldwide.
Her professional career began at Infineon
Before switching to TÜV Süd, Sabine Nitzsche was CFO and member of the Board of Directors at Vitesco Technologies. Between 2021 and 2023 she was CFO and Executive Vice President for the automotive business segment of Infineon.
Sabine Nitzsche began her professional career in 1994 likewise at Infineon and moved through various roles there in purchasing and project management before she assumed commercial and strategic management positions at the Advanced Mask Technology Center between 2003 and 2011. From 2011 to 2021 she worked at the US semiconductor group GlobalFoundries, finally as CFO for the EMEA region.
Sabine Nitzsche studied business economics at the University for Technology and Economics in Dresden.
