Ziehl-Abegg: Gold for TikTok presentation
The industrial company Ziehl-Abegg was honoured at the Employee Branding Award in Vienna. The company’s TikTok presentation won gold.
About 200 projects from Switzerland, Austria and Germany were submitted with 50 making it to the final. Companies like Evonik, Ernst & Young, Coca-Cola, Infineon and the Swiss post office won gold. Ziehl-Abegg won gold for "Employer branding 4.0: success in recruiting workers through funny videos on TikTok".
"This underlines that accepting new trends early on and providing employees with free spaces is a good thing," said the chairman of the board of directors, Dr Marc Wucherer.
A likeable and authentic picture
"Funny videos convey a likeable and authentic picture of the motor and ventilator manufacturer from Künzelsau. The videos have got millions of clicks and demonstrably heighten the number of applications," the company declared.
The protagonists in the TikTok channel come from different departments, such as product management, distribution, personnel and development. The creative head behind the TikTok presentations is Rebecca Amlung, who develops e-learning videos in product management.
