A newly founded company aims to provide lift operators and maintenance companies with a comprehensive service package and will present what it has to offer for the first time at the interlift 2023.
The Diceo Group is a consortium of two partners: the Schmersal Group and compreneur. Schmersal is a developer and manufacturer of safety switching devices and systems and lift controllers while compreneur is a business consultancy. The CEO of the Diceo Group is Benjamin Fröhling of compreneur.
According to a press release of Schmersal, the core element of the service portfolio of the Diceo Group is the non-invasive retrofitting system, "Eyelevate", which was jointly developed with partners. The smart remote monitoring system worked with every lift, irrespective of type, age and manufacturer: Eyelevate permitted monitoring important lift functions in real time, thanks to its integrated sensors.
"The system permanently evaluates data about lift behaviour, detects atypical states and scenarios and reports these, for example via push messages to the customer tablet or smartphone," explained the company. Eyelevate gave the customer a "neutral status analysis of an independent third party about its lift." The system featured certified IT security, which did not provide unauthorised parties with any way of interfering with the system, according to the Diceo Group. The IoT system Eyelevate made it possible for customers to have a 360 degree view of their lifts.
Furthermore, Diceo offered a service portfolio ranging from the analysis of the lift portfolio, advisory services and maintenance to operational management. This which was intended to support lift operators and maintenance companies in equal measure.
"Only together can operators and maintenance companies optimise business processes and lifts to ensure that availability, quality and costs are in harmony across the entire service life and thus a maximum contribution can be made to preserving the lifts’ value," explained Benjamin Fröhling, CEO of Diceo.
