Siepe took over the door business of Hütter over two years ago. At the interlift, the company will present two new products.
The increased demand for larger car doors in the industrial area has induced Siepe to further develop the vertical car door VKT2019. After being successfully tested by TÜV Süd, the vertical car door is also available in an "XL version" up to a door width of 5 m and a door height of 4 m.
The drive components have been reinforced to ensure smooth, calm running. The VKT2022-XL version is designed as a reinforced version in primed steel. To keep the weight lower, it can if desired also be built in sandwich design with sheet metal cladding.
Up to now, use of the car door was only intended for passenger and cargo lifts with hinged landing doors. After lengthy development work, Siepe can now also present a vertical landing door.
Just like the vertical car door VKT, the newly developed landing door VST combines sturdy design and uncomplicated installation, according to the manufacturer. "Both doors are connected to each other by an optical coupler on an infrared basis, which guarantees maximum safety – already confirmed in advance by TÜV Süd."EN81/20-50 has of course been observed in this regard.
The landing door uses a Kronenberg door lock, including a fail-safe lock device. The controller of the VKT underwent further development by Langer & Laumann and now also assumes the unlocking and trip management of the VST:
After start-up of the car door, all controller parameters set are transferred after starting the landing doors to their controllers. This saves time in the event of reinstallation and during maintenance. An existing vertical car door from Siepe can also be supplemented with a conversion kit by the new vertical landing door.
