New hygiene protection products protect the company
Hansen is currently mastering the corona crisis with a new business idea: In addition to its day-to-day business, the company produces hygienic protective walls made of acrylic glass and face visors made of PET-G as drip protection.
Hansen makes the production data available to other companies. The required material is kept in stock by the existing production of LED surface lights, CNC milling machine and laser can be flexibly adjusted to all dimensions.
"This not only secures jobs in our company, but also helps to protect people - wherever frequent customer contact at the checkout or counter increases the risk of infection: e.g. in supermarkets, pharmacies or bank offices," explains the Haselund-based company.

The company wants to encourage plastics processing companies to expand their familiar working environment and to produce face visors themselves to supply their local facilities: "Now it’s time for solidarity! Therefore, we would like to use our newly acquired know-how not only for ourselves, but also share it with interested customers or expand it in dialogue".
Hansen in the media
The campaign had made positive headlines and received a great response in the media. In addition to the local coverage in the daily newspaper, there were also two television reports on the campaign, Hansen says: "In this way, we not only gained greater recognition of our new products, but hopefully also gave everyone the courage to face the current challenges with united efforts.
