Modular standardisation of emergency call systems

News

Amphitech has replaced its previous series of PTU lift emergency call systems and consolidated them in a single new product series. It meets the requirements of the new EN 81-28:2020.

The new product series TA80 is ‘ready-to-use’ on telephone networks but can also be operated with an Amphitech GSM gateway via mobile telecommunications networks. Up to eight TA80 systems can share one line/GSM gateway. Installation occurs optionally in the car or in the type TA80 COP as rear panel installation in the control panel.

Configuration: The easy to configure system via voice commands is supplemented by voice terminals. They are available optionally as modules that can be integrated for car control panels, as separate flush-mounted control panels, surface-mounted emergency call panels or as modules for installation in the shaft pit or under the car.

To simplify configuration, predefined sets with all components required are available for most applications - for example, with emergency call device, power supply unit, flush-mounted car voice terminal and voice terminal with alarm button for installation under the car.

EN 81-70: Devices with functions for inductive transmission to hearing aids are available for barrier-free lift use. Moreover, pictograms can be selected according to EN 81-70. The cables needed are already included in delivery for almost all system components.

Previous series: The new system has replaced the device series PTU 8028 and PTU 80 V2 to V6 – adapter kits have been developed for existing installations, thus guaranteeing continued reliable operation and spare part supply.
