First exhibitors at the E2 Forum Frankfurt 2022

News

The first companies from the elevator and escalator industry have registered for the E2 Forum Frankfurt on September 21 and 22, 2022 in Frankfurt am Main.

"The industry has come through the corona crisis well thanks to stable development in the construction industry. As a result, the topic of personal safety has also taken on a new significance. In addition, hygiene protection measures and concepts have been developed and implemented," said Dr. Peter Hug, Managing Director of the VDMA Elevators and Escalators Trade Association at the start of the year."

The VDMA trade association is cooperation partner of the organiser Messe Frankfurt on behalf of the E2 Forum Frankfurt.

Experts for the building mobility ecosystem

Swiss elevator specialist Schindler is one of the major internationally active manufacturers that have already registered for the upcoming E2 Forum Frankfurt: "For us, the focus in September will be on presenting and discussing our digital elevator solutions – from planning and operating to digital media in the elevator," says Dr. Meinolf Pohle, at that time still CEO of Schindler Germany.

Experts for individual components, such as Meiller and Wittur, and for data technology and for control systems, such as New Lift and Telegärtner Elektronik, have also announced their participation.

Klaus Gerhards, Managing Director of Wittur Germany, reports: "The modernisation of elevator systems goes hand in hand with high demands in terms of technology and aesthetics – for the car as well as for the car or landing door that is visible from the outside. Architecture, specialist planning and building management can look forward to appealing and cost-effective solutions."

Conference formats and a networking evening

Adrian Gollasch, Sales Manager at Telegärtner Elektronik, sees the benefits of advancing digitalisation for lift technology by means of modern emergency call and control technology as elementary: "The digitalisation of the past two years in the general working environment has made it clear to us that we have to think and act in a more modern and future-oriented way. There is potential especially in the area of emergency call and control systems."

A series of contact and conference formats and a networking evening are planned for the dialog between the E2 industry and plant operators in building technology and real estate management at the E2 Forum Frankfurt.
