Bernstein AG: Ten percent increase in turnover

News

Bernstein AG generated over 70 million euros in turnover last year – that is an increase of more than ten percent year over year.

Despite the persistently high raw material prices and supply bottlenecks in many areas of the industry, the family company succeeded in reaching its goals. "The strained situation on the procurement markets last year was particularly challenging," explained Achim Bernstein, member of the board of management of Bernstein AG.

Apart from various replacement investments, various new investments are also planned up to the end of 2023, which will create additional capacities for our production," according to Achim Bernstein. These include, for example, two robots for robot powder coating. "They apply the paint powder thanks to the repetition precision with consistently high quality to the housing (-parts)," reads a press release of the company.

Moreover, on the site of the production site in Hille/Hartum, Bernstein created space for new offices in order to have more space for more machinery and plant within the production halls. The most comprehensive investment in this year was a fully automatic system for assembly of industrial safety switches, which will probably supplement production at the end of 2023.

Moreover, thanks to rethinking and conversion of processes and work steps, the company succeeded in cutting gas consumption by 15 percent last year.

Bernstein is a supplier of industrial safety and enclosure technology.
