It was the 23rd "International Congress on Vertical Transportation Technologies", organised by the IAEE (International Association of Elevator Engineers): Elevcon 2023. Around 70 participants - including the speakers - had come to Prague. It was also the premiere of the new chairwoman of the Elevcon Steering Committee, Dr. Marja-Liisa Siikonen.
