May 2023
Work and celebrate - that could have been the motto for this anniversary: 25 years ago, the European Lift Association (ELA) was founded. Some 80 participants met in Lucerne, first for the official General Assembly. In the evening there was a festive gala dinner, followed the next day by the ELA Conference with numerous presentations on the subject of "Safety in Maintenance". Most of the speakers were on site, but some were online via streaming from China, Brazil, Hawaii and Austria. The conference ended on Saturday morning with a boat trip on Lake Lucerne.
LIFTjournal will report on the conference in the next issue.
