Wittur: New Division with new Managing Director

Wittur Group had created a new Project Business and Field Services EMEA Division led by Andrea Gorlezza.

Gorlezza (52) has been appointed Managing Director of the Project Business and Field Services EMEA division. In this function he becomes a member of the Wittur Executive Management Team.

This newly formed division includes all Wittur Sales Operations in EMEA, as well as the Manufacturing Plants which mainly service the Project Business of the EMEA market.

Long experience in the elevator business

Wittur expects such focus to deliver significant improvement over the next years to our customers’ experience, our product / service portfolio and our end-to-end supply chain capabilities. Within the division, Janne Piiroinen will take over management of all EMEA sales organizations whereas Michele Turillazzi will lead the Systems business and the Distribution business of Wittur Turkey.

Andrea Gorlezza has a long experience in the elevator business, gathered with roles of increasing responsibility in a major elevator OEM in the area of New Installations Operations at global level, as well as Spare Parts Management Europe.

Previously, he gained a strong Procurement and Supply Chain expertise in primary companies across the automotive, oil & gas and shipbuilding industries.
