WebYourElevator: new online lift configurator

The new online lift configurator from Liwetec for the lift sector is intended to provide more planning certainty and transparency as well as to simplify pricing and drawing up offers.

The new online configurator is intended to facilitate fast, easy calculation of a complete, matching individual lift system and creation of a corresponding offer, via which the order can also be generated.

The Elevator Configurator integrates customer data, piece lists with prices and lift versions. Calculation and design occur on the basis of the design plans generated and automated assembly calculation times. These tasks are assumed completely. The program automatically excludes unrealisable combinations.

Order is generated via the offer

The configurator creates a complete offer at the end of the planning. It can be printed directly from the system, sent by e-mail or transferred to other systems. Finally, the order is generated via the offer, which can be downloaded simultaneously.

The most important functions:
• Creating the offer or calculation across various fields that integrate the corresponding calculations, in part the elevator portal calculations (with interface)
• The drawing generated serves as a basis for planning the design
• (Shaft drawing = sketch) with data transfer (ASCII table) to the CAD system
• Commercial configuration such as article administration, calculations, validation, printing offers and integrating lift versions
• ERP connection: importing customer data or price data (commercial piece lists)
• Queries to manufacturer: automatically generated queries for article and order forms
• Articles requested especially for the offer are automatically integrated in the configurator.
• Automated creation of documents: order-dependent documents, such as the offer, are automatically generated and despatched via templates.
• Online car configurator (with customer access) with visual 3D configuration and VR presentation
• Weight calculation: the weight of components, such as of the car, is determined via the weight of the components and their subcomponents. This provides a precise estimate of the weights as the basis for design.
• Validation: validation guarantees that all of the components selected fit.
• Administration: the template projects can easily be changed and expanded.

Validated by TÜV certification

The calculation software of the Elevator Portal is validated annually by TÜV certification. The database system has been used since 2009 in planning, selecting and calculating complete lifts. Product and system configurators for technical calculation of the main components are already part of online calculation.

In combination with the "e-Inspection Manager", a digital tool of the Elevator Portal, all of the orders and lifts can be administered in the Configurator. This makes it possible to combine lifts flexibly in groups.
