Web tool configures shaft smoke extraction systems

News

BlueKit, supplier of shaft smoke extraction and ventilation systems, will be presenting a special novelty at the interlift this year: BlueKit Connect.

BlueKit Connect is intended to make the future configuration and calculation of solutions for lift shaft smoke extraction fast, easy and digital. Those attending the interlift will have the opportunity to test the tool live at the stand.

The web-based tool permits users to generate custom solutions for their projects, purely on the basis of their project data and without any profound product knowledge.

Users immediately obtain a calculation appropriate

To do this, the programme uses basic project data, such as the building type, availability of a machine room, energy standard, the size of the lift shaft and other criteria. "On this basis, the programme proposes an optimal technical and economic solution to the customer, while the configuration can be individualised at any time," explained BlueKit.

After selecting a suitable solution, users immediately obtain a calculation appropriate to it, including the estimated assembly time. If necessary, it can send the solution to BlueKit, save it or forward it directly to its own purchasing department.

Position itself as an innovator

In this way, BlueKit aims to position itself as an innovator in this business sector and respond to the increasing digitalisation in the lift industry. In future, the intelligent tool is not only to simplify selecting the system in future, but eliminate the work entirely. "The needs of the customer and easy operation take pride of place," emphasised the company.

Therefore, the motto of this year’s trade fair stand will be "BlueKit 4.0". During the trade fair, visitors will have the opportunity to test BlueKit Connect live at the stand and provide their feedback. Moreover, visitors should expect more fascinating innovations and digital solutions in the area of shaft ventilation.
