Variotech will be presenting various new product developments at interlift 2023. These include controller-independent emergency evacuation, which was developed especially for existing lifts.
In the event of a blackout bringing the lift to a standstill, the system prevents users being trapped and allows passengers to alight safely at the next stop.
The company will also show its newly developed 4G module. It can forward the information of the Variotech lift maintenance module independently of the on-site emergency devices to the emergency call centre. This providers the lift operator promptly with important information about the current status of basic functions of a lift, such as car lighting, halting precision and dangerous conditions in the safety circuit.
The third innovation makes it possible to retrofit existing lifts with modern absolute shaft copying and exploit its benefits. This additional module translates the information of the shaft copying for the existing controller into comprehensible switch information and replaces the solenoid switch, hook switch, etc.
