At its fourth trade fair appearance in succession, Serapid will present a fully functional car lift at the Interlift 2019.
With a payload of 5.0 tons and a real acceptance according to EN 81 20/50, this car lift is intended to be exemplary for a completely new series of cargo, car, truck and special lifts in Serapid’s product portfolio. "You can look forward to a fully functional and real car lift that can be experienced with rigid chain technology and different versions in the selection of the car design and the materials used," according to the company.
The workforce has been busy with the construction for weeks. "This is a special challenge, because we’re not just building a sample or model, but rather a fully functional lift," stated Olaf Klingner, lift technology sales director. The drive system, based on the company’s own rigid chain technology, provides the basis and technical expertise for this.
With this development, Serapid aims to provide new, forward-looking and efficient solutions in the heavy duty segments of lift technology. "New solutions generate new possibilities and encourage rethinking, which to an extent is what we want to provoke too." The talk on 19 September as part of the VFA-Forum on the subject "Rigid chain technology – an alternative to conventional drive systems in lift construction" matches this.
For the first time, Serapid will define itself at the interlift with a brand presentation of its own as "Serapid Lift Systems." By doing so, the company – to date a component supplier for various industrial sectors – now wants to present itself on the market as a lift builder and provide ready-to-use solutions.
Visitors can find out more at the stand at the interlift (Hall 5, Stand 5112). There you will not only be able to talk shop and travel with the car lift. "As a French company, we naturally also identify with our origins. In line with this, we would like to welcome you to our 'French lift week' and treat you to French culinary specialities at the interlift," emphasised Klingner on behalf of Serapid.
