Schum: New head of technology

Martin Brey is the new head of technology at Johann Schum Aufzugtechnik.

His field of responsibilities includes technical order processing, design, product improvement, conduct of BMPs, internal further education as well as being the internal contact for standards and guidelines. The 53-old studied vehicle technology and industrial engineering at the University of Munich.

He has been working at LM Liftmaterial since 2002, in executive roles since 2008. Apart from developing the design department and his role as technical director at LM, he was also responsible worldwide in the Sematic Group for engineering and then for the development of complete lift systems at the Wittur Group.

He is the member of several guideline committees in the VDI.
