Aleatec is expanding its portfolio: apart from the enev-kit lift shaft smoke extraction system, the company is now marketing the electric protective room catch.
The electric protective room catch guarantees temporary protective rooms for maintenance personnel in new construction and existing lifts. The safety installations are activated before entering the shaft.
Cost-intensive construction measures, such as water level reductions or expensive enterprises for creating a shaft pit are eliminated. Water-tight base slabs do not have to be penetrated.
The type approval tested railoc protective room catch is mounted on the counterweight or lift car rail within two to three hours. The activation of protective room measures occurs via the emergency unlocking within ten seconds. A light signalises whether the shaft can be entered.
railoc is prewired with attachment material and universal fittings for guide rail backs 45 - 90 mm. The overall mass P+Q amounts to 600 – 2500 kg at a maximum speed of 1.0 m/s.
