Partners for smart lift doors

Cedes and Langer & Laumann have agreed on a partnership. Cedes is a global leader in lift door safeguarding, Langer & Laumann provides solutions in the field of door drives on the European market.

The large warehouse inventory is intended to ensure direct availability of all products, soon to include the easygard light curtain and the IMS 100 Pro 3D camera sensor for entrance area monitoring from Cedes.

Innovation at its best

The distribution channel is to be just the first stage of the common journey. Patrick Bass, CEO of the Cedes Group, saw a lot of potential in this partnership. "Langer & Laumann offers excellent products and customer service. We also share similar values, and so combining our elevator modernization offerings feels like a natural development," he said. In the near future, the two companies wanted to expand their cooperation into the field of IoT enablement. "We are currently investigating the possibility to integrate door operator data into a joint IoT solution."
