Henning presented its new product for overload measurement from the WeightWatcher product series at the interlift: the evaluation unit “AE12wifi”.
The centrepiece of the AE12wifi is the patented Henning measurement principle, which "guarantees reliable and precise overload measurement", the manufacturer of lift components and measurement technology declared.
A solution was developed that not only enhanced safety but was also intended to minimise rope wear. This made a decisive contribution to extending the service life of lifts and simultaneously to lowering operating costs, according to Henning.
The special feature of the AE12wifi was not just its advanced measurement principle, but above all the integration of WIFI technology and an integrated local server, Henning emphasised.
This was intended to enable operators and technicians to connect to the evaluation unit with every mobile terminal. The integrated web server provided access to an intuitive user interface.
The rope tension assistant was a special feature of the AE12wifi. This tool allowed real time monitoring and adjustment of the rope tension by operators.
"Use of this function helps to avoid excessive wear of the rope, which not only enhances safety but also cuts maintenance costs," Henning pointed out.
The AE12wifi also permits configuration of the entire device via TCP/IP (if so desired). This approach allowed technicians to modify parameters, determine alarm limits and make other settings to adjust the AE12wifi to the specific requirements of every lift.
The option of also making these settings directly on the device was simultaneously preserved.
