New President and CEO of Kone Corporation

Kone's Board of Directors has appointed Philippe Delorme President and CEO of Kone Corporation as of January 1, 2024.

Philippe succeeds Henrik Ehrnrooth, who will continue as Executive Advisor until the end of March 2024 to support the transition and induction of the new CEO.

Philippe Delorme, born 1971, joins Kone from Schneider Electric where he has accumulated over 25 years of business leadership experience. Most recently he served as Executive Vice President, Europe Operations. Prior to that he held key positions in the areas of strategy, technology, operations, and sales in Europe, the US and Asia. He was a member of the Schneider Electric Executive Committee from 2009 to 2023.

Kone's President and CEO Henrik Ehrnrooth (54) had informed in the beginning of October Kone's Board of Directors of his intention to step down from the role of President and CEO during the first half of 2024. Ehrnrooth joined Kone in 2009 as CFO and was appointed President and CEO in 2014.

Together with his team, Henrik has created an organization and culture that has successfully steered Kone through significant changes in our operating environment," says Antti Herlin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kone.
