ALGI made its online configurator available to lift companies, specialist planners and operators at the end of 2022. It permits pre-planning of lifts in existing shafts or in new installations.
Apart from the configurator, all technical dimensioned drawings, instructions and the order-related acceptance documents can be viewed there, explained the manufacturer of hydraulic drives, supporting frames and cars.
The entire product spectrum can be designed in the configurator. The focus is not just on the drive modernisation of existing lifts, but also on planning of hydraulic passenger and goods lifts, according to the company.
When designing aggregates, the entire range of valve blocks is available. Modernisation at short notice could be realised within two to three weeks for simple passenger and goods lifts with a mechanical valve block and retaining the existing controller, according to ALGI. Drive modernisation with a controlled or frequency regulated control block could be chosen. All technical drive data are then calculated by the configurator.
After entering the desired car and door parameters, the calculation tool for complete hydraulic lifts provides the minimum shaft dimensions and calculates the weights of the individual lift components needed for the drive. The space requirement of the jack is calculated as well as the structure of the supporting frame, which has a decisive influence on the height of the headroom and shaft pit.
ALGI offers a platform on which customers can calculate, plan and visualise hydraulic lifts from 320 kg to 12,000 kg payload. In supplement, the company supplies a height and floor plan for each offer as well as a car drawing for visual support.
