Kone: New Executive Vice President

Karla Lindahl has been appointed Executive Vice President, responsible for the South Europe and Mediterranean region and member of the Executive Board as of 1 April 2022.

She will report to Henrik Ehrnrooth, President and CEO of Kone Corporation. Karla succeeds Thomas Hinnerskov who will leave Kone for a position outside the company, as previously announced.

18 years at Kone

Karla joined Kone in 2004 and has most recently held the role of Managing Director for Finland and the Baltics. During her 18 years at Kone, she has held several key leadership positions within the company, including being responsible for Kone's global strategy development. She has a Master of Laws degree from the University of Helsinki and a Master of Arts (EC Competition Law) degree from King's College, London.

In addition, the Board of Directors had elected in the beginning of March from among its members Antti Herlin as its Chairman and Jussi Herlin as Vice Chairman. Ravi Kant was elected as Chairman and Matti Alahuhta, Jussi Herlin and Susan Duinhoven as members of the Audit Committee.
