The lift safety company SafeLine has released a free pocket guide to the new version of the EN 81-28.
The pocket-sized format, as well as the short and icon-oriented content are meant to make the standards easily accessible to all – skipping the long paragraphs and confusing order of rules.
"As a marketing leader in the lift safety industry we need to stay on top of the development and keep our customers informed of the latest updates. Since SafeLine’s focus is on delivering quality, it is crucial for us to inform about the latest changes and keep the whole industry updated as well", says Tarja Rosén, Marketing Manager at SafeLine Group.
The new standards are put into effect May 2020, giving lift owners plenty of time to implement the changes if given the right information. "Having a lift safety system not up to standards can be a costly mistake and having easy accessibility is therefore key in spreading the knowledge of the standards", warns the company.
The guide will be available in seven different languages and can be collected from all SafeLine offices throughout Europe. It is also possible to send an e-mail to EN81@safeline.se to receive the delivery. "Make sure you include your name, company, address, telephone number and language/how many copies you want in your email," writes SafeLine in the press release.
