Cibes Lift Group acquires Swedish lift company

Cibes Lift Group acquires Swedish lift company Hiss i Skåne, a company specializing in lift modernization, installation and maintenance.

The acquisition of Hiss i Skåne will strengthen the position of Cibes in the South of Sweden. Hiss i Skåne specializes in modernization, installation and maintenance of conventional lifts and low-speed lifts. At present, Hiss i Skåne has service assignments for approximately 2200 lifts.

Strengthen position in southern Sweden

Hiss i Skåne was founded in 2006 by Urban Strandberg, Stefan Laffrenzen and Anders Claus and has quickly grown to become the largest privately-owned lift company in the region of Skåne.

Hiss i Skåne has close to 30 employees and the company office is in Malmö. The acquisition makes Hiss i Skåne a wholly owned company within the Cibes Lift Group.
