Arnolds to retire
Klaus Arnolds is retiring. The first technician of the Westdeutsche Runfunk broadcaster was one of the co-founders of the LIFTjournal and was a member of its advisory board from the start.
The 65-year old technician for electrical technology and electronics began his career as fitter at MAN Aufzüge, later Thyssenkrupp. In 1988, he moved to the WDR, where he took care of about 100 lifts and hoisting installations.
At the turn of the millennium he was the spokesman of the lift operator interest group. He has written a total of 32 articles for the LIFTjournal.
We would like to express our thanks to Klaus Arnolds for his many years of support and look forward to him continuing to write for LIFTjournal in his retirement!
