Symposium: The new and the tried-and-tested

The Schwelm Symposium in June, the long-standing lecture event of the lift industry, now also has the LIFTjournal as a new media partner.

On 26 and 27 June numerous experts from the lift industry will once again meet in the golf hotel in Sprockhövel, in order to discuss current issues related to lift technology with 20 speakers. The event will be staged for the fifteenth time by Henning GmbH, the VFA Interlift and Lift Report.

Lectures and golf tournament

Apart from traditional subjects, such as standards and the Operational Safety Ordinance, it will deal with new technologies in lift construction, digitalisation, networking and new methods for the maintenance of lifts and escalators. Security questions, like fire monitoring and protection against vandalism, will play an especially important role this year.

On the Monday evening the organisers will issue an invitation to the traditional, convivial evening grill. An artist from the region will provide entertainment. On the Sunday before the event will be enriched with a “golf tournament” and “golf try-out.” Those who would like to play can register on the website of Henning GmbH.

On the evening before the event B.A.S.E. GmbH will invite to small talk at 7.00 p.m. on 25 June.
