interlift: Forty specialist talks by international speakers
The VFA-Forum interlift accompanying the interlift ’22 in Augsburg will feature more than 40 specialist talks.
Experts from Germany and abroad will examine specific national markets, present new developments in advancing digitalisation and provide information on the increasingly important subject of security.
More information: The programm of the VFA-Forum interlift 2022 (download for free as PDF) Two experts will provide insights into current developments and the state of European and international lift regulations on Wednesday, 27 April: Esfandiar Gharibaan – vice chairman of Kone and chairman of the CEN committee TC 10 Lifts, Escalators and Moving Walk – and René Hermann, vice chairman of Schindler and chairman of the working group WG1 Lifts and Service Lifts in CEN/TC10.
The new Machinery Product Regulation and its influence on the lift sector will also be addressed on 27 April. The speakers will be Luca Pezzini, Secretary General of the ELA European Lift Association and Carsten Henriksen, Code Officer EMA at Schindler and chairman of the ELA Committee Codes & Standards. This subject block will be rounded off by Willem Kasteleijn/LiftInstituut from the Netherlands. His subject will be enhancing the security of lifts from the point of view an NB-L.
BIM processes and the global lift market
"BIM processes (VDI 2552 Sheet 11.5) in the current business world and in the future" will be the subject of a talk on 27 April in which a total of four experts will speak: the architect Andreas Pilot, chairman of the regulation committee VDI Sheet 11.5 BIM – lift technology will lead the discussion. The other speakers will be Andreas Fleischmann (DigiPara), Anton Hulm (Schmitt +Sohn) and Anna Merkler (Schindler Switzerland).
On Thursday, 28 April, André Kukhnin of Crédit Suisse will speak about the "Global lift market, technologies and trends for lifts and escalators". Directly after this, Wolfgang Adldinger (elevator technology consultant of AD-LIFT service and speaker at VFA-Interlift) will address "Trends and technologies in the lift sector".
The talks will each last twenty minutes, after which there will be five minutes for audience questions. The talk languages are German and English; simultaneous interpreting is available. The moderators will be Adldinger (AD-Lift service), Raimo Hätälä (H Consulting), Volker Lenzner (VFA-Akademie) and Prof. Dr. Wolfram Vogel (GutAchten Vogel).
