Fédération des Ascenseurs: New President

The Fédération des Ascenseurs elected Olivier Rouvière as its new President at its General Assembly.

Olivier Rouvière, 61, has a degree in microelectronics from INSA Lyon, a post-graduate diploma in integrated electronics from the Ecole centrale de Lyon and is an engineer by training.

He has more than thirty years' experience with Otis. He was Managing Director of Otis Switzerland from 2010 to 2019 and Managing Director of Otis France from January 2019 to January 2022.

Implement the profession's CSR roadmap

As part of his new mandate, he will implement the profession's CSR roadmap to "address energy and demographic challenges, as well as giving even greater visibility to the sector's know-how, trades and training", says the newsletter of European Lift Association (ELA).

The Federation represents 90 percent of the sector's economic activity in France.
