First “notified body” for Machine Directive
TÜV Süd has been recognised and listed as the worldwide first notified body on the European NANDO website for the new Machine Regulation.

Founded in 1915, Yaskawa Electric is one of the pioneers in the fields of drive technology, industry automation and robotics.
To this day, the company is still setting standards with its solutions and systems. In recognition of this, Yaskawa was included for the second time in succession in the list of the “Top 100 Global Innovators.”
The report – called into life by the media group Thomson Reuters – was published for the first time by Clarivate Analytics this year,–previously the business division Intellectual Property & Science of Thomson Reuters.
Criteria for the selection of the most innovative companies worldwide are the global range, the number of the registered patents and their successful issue as well as the influence of inventions.
