Schmersal: new head of the technology division

Schmersal has named Axel Schneider as the new head of its technology division.

Previously, the qualified electrical engineer held senior positions in international automation and telecommunications sector companies. During his professional career, he has gathered well-founded knowledge and experience, above all in the fields of product development, network technology and industrial IT systems.

In addition, the 49-year old has various additional qualifications in the area of agile product development, project and change management and is a certified professional scrum product owner.

Drawing up group-wide standards

As the head of the technology division at the Schmersal Group, Axel Schneider is responsible for the worldwide coordination of development capacities and innovation projects.

Among other things, this includes drawing up group-wide standards in the field of development and continuous further promotion of Schmersal’s global product portfolio.
