Sara Berggren: the new Secretary General at Hissförbundet

Sara Berggren has taken over from Anne Geitmann as Secretary General of Hissförbundet, the Swedish Lift and Escalator Association.

She has an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from KTH, the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.

The 44-year-old comes from the Swedish Standards Institute, SIS, where she was responsible for national and international standardisation committees dealing with compressors, pneumatic tools and machinery, earth-moving machinery and rolling bearings, all with a strong focus on machine safety. Previously, she worked as a mechanical designer and project manager at Atlas Copco Industrial Technique.
