Lift operators should be able to monitor their lifts everywhere with the new NEXSD product from Schmitt + Sohn.
At the same time, the purpose of the system is to gather all relevant data, use this for predictive analyses and guarantee maximum availability with the assistance of intelligent algorithms, according to the company.
NEXSD stands for "NEXt Service Dimension". The new product from Schmitt + Sohn Aufzüge is intended to be non-proprietary, compatible with over 100 different controls and capable of retrofitting at any time. "The demand was unbelievable even before the launch," according to Maximilian Schmitt, managing partner of Schmitt + Sohn Aufzüge. "Customers want transparency, security and maximum availability for their lifts. We can offer this in full with NEXSD."
NEXSD will be available immediately for new lifts in Germany and Austria along with Portugal and the Czech Republic.
• NEXSD AWM is the fourth generation of the lift attendant. According to the company, it is intended to provide permanent, comprehensive lift inspection, meaning problems are detected immediately.
• NEXSD Customer Cockpit provides the operator with access to all of the important operating data of the lift The dashboard ensures that operators can check what the status of the lift is at any time "This avoids expensive unnecessary deployments while ordering and approving repairs is convenient and uncomplicated," as it says in the press release of Schmitt + Sohn.
• NEXSD Care collects relevant data, for example, to detect and correct signs of wear in time before any malfunction occurs.
• NEXSD Inspect evaluates data from lifts susceptible to faults and compares this with other data. As a result, obtaining better insights from them about the actions needed is possible.
