Kübler's company management assesses the current business year as very successful and at the same time full of challenges. This was stated by the company at its annual press conference.
Kübler expects a turnover of € 80 million for the group in 2021. In terms of incoming orders, a plus of around 40 percent is currently being recorded, and Kübler expects over 20 percent growth in turnover. Like most companies on the market, the Kübler Group is currently facing supply bottlenecks and high price increases for materials. "So far we have been able to bridge these well with only minor delays", report Lothar and Gebhard Kübler, the two partners and managing directors.
The company wants to become faster, more digital, more technological and more sustainable, it said at the press conference. For example, 15 percent of the 400 German employees (500 worldwide) already work in R&D, Kübler has expanded its technology partnerships and extended its software team. In addition, a product development team is currently being set up in India.
Technology talks, in which new and sometimes disruptive solutions are developed together with customers, are very important at Kübler. For the lift industry Kübler is expanding its "Ants" shaft copying system with new smart functions such as Smart Teaching for intelligent and safe lifts.
For the next year Kübler is again expecting double-digit growth of over ten percent, according to Martin Huth, Managing Director Sales / Marketing, as a first rule of thumb.
He cites a shortage of materials and rising material prices as obstacles. "Added to this is the challenge of finding qualified employees". Kübler is at home with its products in the industrial world and is broadly positioned. "We speak the language of our customers. We can help them to increase their productivity," he is convinced.
The management and the whole team were delighted that, according to "WirtschaftsWoche", the Kübler Group is now for the third time one of the 100 most innovative medium-sized companies in 2021 and has reached 23rd place. "The award is a confirmation of our "innovation marathon", which we started back in 2015, and motivates us to keep at it with a lot of energy", said Gebhard Kübler, one of the two managing partners of the family business.
