Breaking ground for new company headquarters
At the end of September, Serapid laid the foundation in Martin-Église in France for the “OneSerapid” project at the new location of the company in the Eurochannel II zone.
According to the two managing directors of the Serapid company group, Guillaume Davies (COO) and Emeric Labesse (CEO), who have been in charge of the company since 2017, the new building is to facilitate the company’s development and “continue opening up new markets, above all in the field of special lifts with the new brand Serapid Lift Systems.”

Bringing all employees together at a central location is intended to contribute to reinforcing team spirit, facilitate cooperation between the different departments and permit optimisation of all process sequences.
Car lift as conference room
A 5,700 m² building that contains a 4,500 m² production area and 1,200 m² office space is being created in the Eurochannel II zone and as a result will boost the administrative area by 30 percent and the production areas by 15 percent. The planning also provides for a 350 m² exhibition room in which among other things a car lift to a scale of 1:1 can be used as a conference room. Construction is to be completed in October / November 2021.
